About Me
Since 2005, I have been working with, and learning from, the complex and resilient young people of the Bay Area as a mental health clinician and case manager. I've had the opportunity to build a knowledge base and salient strength-based perspective through my work at SF Child Crisis Services, West Coast Children's Clinic, Bay Area Youth Centers, STARS Community Services, Lincoln Families, and Catholic Charities of the East Bay
In my practice, I coach and train groups and organizations on issues of Cultural Humility, Bias in Mandated Reporting, Institutional Whiteness, and techniques for Social Justice Parenting. I strongly believe in fostering mental emancipation within communities of color and other oppressed groups. It is my life's work to aid in the emotional liberation of children of color and those who love them. |
